Smart Gigabit Communities Reverse Pitch - Raleigh Session

US IGNITE and North State co-sponsor a challenge.

A Three City Invitational. One amazing event.

The RIoT community, together with US Ignite, New City Ventures, NCNGN and the National Science Foundation are seeking out Designers, Developers, Data Scientists, Coders and Civic Hackers to solve the problems of our Smart Cities and Communities of the future NOW.

Municipalities and Industry Leaders from across NC will present challenges that require the high bandwidth and low latency of Gigabit Fiber infrastructure and clustered cloud computing. US Ignite and other partners will award two teams $19k each to develop applications that can be scaled nationally.

Open to all municipalities, companies, non profits, entrepreneurs, geeks, coders, hackers, developers, network engineers, software designers, EEs, entrepreneurs, scientists, web developers, IoT solution providers, UI/UX and VR/AR designers.

Promising teams will receive valuable development tools, pitch development support and mentoring from New City Ventures, RIoT Labs, and national leaders and experts in their fields.
