Three parallel Themes - 1. Agile/Kanban 2. Selenium Grid 3. Design Patterns

We have 3 parallel sessions/themes for this meetup:

1. Agile/Kanban: Learn Kanban from the experts !! In collaboration with the Limited WIP Society, we have an expert speaker coming from Bangalore for this knowledge sharing session.

2. Selenium Grid for scaling up automation tests: Selenium Grid is a version of Selenium that allows teams to set up a number of Selenium instances on several different platforms such as Windows, Mac, Linux and so on with several combinations of Browsers. In this session, we will be covering the need of Selenium Grid, What Selenium Grid is and how it can be used. We would be demonstrating how to set up Selenium-Grid Hub and start nodes. Attendees would get a hands-on experience in configuring desired capabilities with Remote Webdriver on Selenium Grid in different ways including configuration via JSON and running their testcases using it. We would help attendees scale their automation by distributing tests on several machines (parallel execution).

3. Design Patterns and Software Craftsmanship: A 3 hours extensive session about software design principles and craftsmanship with deep dive details and hands on exercises on some of the design patterns one should know in depth as a software engineer.

Detail Plan:

3:45 - 4:00 PM : Networking & Snacks

4:00 - 6.45 PM : Individual tracks/themes in parallel

6.45 - 7:15 PM : Networking & Dinner
