About us
This group is for North Country Trail hikers in North Dakota! The Central Flyway, Sheyenne River Valley, and Dakota Prairie Chapters of the North Country Trail Association use this Meetup to schedule events and trail work projects on the North Country National Scenic Trail in North Dakota.
All of the group's events are open to anyone - you do not need to be a NCTA member* to participate in our events but we invite you to join us! Membership in the NCTA supports trail-wide initiatives but also helps the local Chapters have the funding they need to build and maintain the NCT locally.

SRV Chapter's Fort Ransom hike
Fort Ransom State Park, 5981 Walt Hjelle Parkway, Fort Ransom, ND, USJoin the SRV Chapter as they hike at Fort Ransom State Park in honor of the Park's 50th Anniversary!
Meet at the Fort Ransom State Park Visitors Center at 10am to hike into Fort Ransom for lunch on your own (Google Maps). After a delicious meal, hike it off by heading back to the Park. This is a 5-mile out and back hike or you can shuttle back to the park if you prefer a shorter 2.5-mile hike.
