CANCELED: The "Good" part of NCTech4Good

Details
Tonight's meeting is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances.
A nonprofit based in Raleigh, Alliance of Disability Advocates, Center for Independent Living, embraces their mission: To promote dignity, independence and consumer control for people of all ages and abilities, and to advance civil rights of equal access and full participation in society. Their website (http://alliancecil.org/) is dated and needs a more dynamic presence; it requires being accessible which includes different strategies for formatting including picture identification and more.
Fred Johnson (Communications Specialist) and Rene Cummings (Executive Director) will show us the problems with Alliance's website, describe their goals, mission, audience, and the current software they are using, and show us a few websites they like and what they like about them.
We'll explore options for improving the website and how we might go about doing it, with the goal of a follow-up meeting on a Saturday to actually do the work.
Pizza (sponsored by NTEN & PINInc/RTPNet) and discussion starting at 6:30, program at 7:00.
Many thanks to UNC-TV for being our host for this meeting. If you arrive late and can't get in, call our host, James McGurk, cell phone 919-923-8873. It's hard to see the front door from the meeting room.
We look forward to seeing you there!
