Digital Inclusion

Details
Google Fiber is collaborating with the Nonprofit Technology Network (NTEN) to bring Digital Inclusion Fellows to the Triangle and to seven other Google Fiber cities across the country. But, what's this all about?
The internet is kind of a big deal, but there are many people that do not have access to the web. Sometimes its a lack of connectivity, but it can also be that people don't have the computer skills. The digital inclusion fellowship hopes to bridge the digital divide.
We'll have Michael Abensour, Executive Director of Kramden Institute share with us what their fellow is doing and more about this opportunity.
Pizza (sponsored by NTEN & PINInc/RTPNet) and discussion starting at 6:30 pm, program at 7:00. Many thanks to UNC-TV for being our host for this meeting. If you arrive late and can't get in, call our host, James McGurk, cell phone 919-923-8873. It's hard to see the front door from the meeting room.
We look forward to seeing you there!
