GENERAL INFORMATION
Since the creation of our group, our membership consists of Stay at Home Moms and Part Time Working Moms. As such, many of our events during the week will be geared towards moms and their children. Evenings and/or weekend events, except for Moms night out and a few other events (which will be noted on the calendar).

NEW MEMBER POLICY


    Potential Members: To ensure the safety of our group, all potential members must attend at least one public meetup & pay their yearly dues of $20 before being officially accepted into the group.

    The purpose of these rules are to ensure the safety of our children and our Moms hosting meetup activities/events at their home. Therefore, you must first attend a public meetup before membership approval.


    HOSTING

      Having in home playdates is a great way to get to know each other and let the kids play without much worry in a more intimate setting. We appreciate everyone who is willing to open their homes!

      When attending in home playdates, please be remember to be courteous, respect the rules and privacy of your hostess. We don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable hosting in their home.




    ATTENDANCE POLICY
    Current and active participation is the goal of our playgroup. Since this is a group for MEETING people and getting out and having FUN, we ask that all of our members come to at least ONE event per month.

    If we have not seen or heard from you in awhile it is up to the organizers discretion for removal of a member. You will not be removed unknowingly.



RSVP POLICY
The Organizers and Hosting Members put a lot of thought, effort and sometimes money into planning the events for our playgroup. Your RSVP (and updated RSVP's when your plans change) makes a big difference in the planning phase of our meetups. Please RSVP whether you are planning on attending an event or not.

No Shows/Last Minute Cancellations
We know that sometimes children get sick and things come up. However, if you RSVP “YES” for an event and do not attend the event, you will be considered a No Show. We strictly enforce a 3 Strikes Rule; if you have 3 No Shows within six months, you will be removed from the group. We ask that if you change your RSVP from a “YES” to a “NO” less than 24 hours from the event start time that you contact the hostess to let her know you are unable to attend. In addition, if there is a wait list, you are also obligated to call the next person on the wait list to let them know that they can attend the playdate. An updated group roster can be found under the "FILES" section.

SICK POLICY
Suggested guidelines to determine when you or you child should not attend a meetup event. When you or your child:

  • Is acting or is sick
  • Has a temperature of 100.4 orally or 99.4 rectally ? child should be fever free for 24 hours w/o meds before attending an event
  • Has thick, yellow, green, nasal secretions
  • Has diarrhea ? child/parent can attend event after being symptom free for 24 hours
  • Has vomited once within an 8 hour period ? child/parent can attend event after being symptom free for 24 hours
    ]Has pinkness or redness in the whites of eyes with crusting or drainage of yellow or green pus
  • Has sore throat ? can attend an event 24 hours after treatment has begun
  • Has cough and fever
  • Has spot like rash following a low-grade fever & tiredness (may be chicken pox)
  • Has been on antibiotics for less than 48 hours
  • Has a croupy or wheezy cough or coughs up a lot of green or yellow phlegm




SOLICITATION
Solicitation of any kind, whether in person, via e-mail or on the message board, is prohibited. If you wish to host a party, Longaberger, Pampered Chef, etc., please e-mail an organizer to discuss.


FEES


    The $20.00 membership fee will be good for one year and is non-refundable. It can be paid in cash to the organizer or to an assistant organizer.
    Member is subject to removal from group for non-payment of membership fee.



Facebook Group
Everyone is welcome to post on our Facebook message board. This is a great way to make friends and to be more comfortable with people upon meeting them in person. We greatly encourage message board participation! We do ask that you be respectful when posting. Negative comments towards another member are neither welcome nor appropriate. To be added to the facebook group click the FB icon on the left of our homepage and we can accept you into the group.

If you have a problem with a person or situation, please contact that person or an organizer through email. We want our message board to be a positive, fun place where we can all get to know each other better!
