SLSC - Secular Ladies' Social Club Pages

Who are you anyway?
Secular Ladies' Social Club is a private organization that adheres to the immortal words of Cyndi Lauper, "Girls just wanna have fun!" As such, our club is devoted to frivolity, giggling, and female fellowship with other secular ladies. Who doesn't need more laughter, dessert, and fun in their life?!? Ah yes. Having fun is serious business and no one knows more about having fun than atheist women! :)

Um, what if I don't like dessert?
That's totally OK. Your group organizer is not a dessert person either. She actually prefers salty snacks. She'll stand with you! Salty, sweet, or other - we at the SLSC are devoted to equal opportunity snacking during meetup events.

What sort of events will you have? Other than giggling and eating?
Sooo glad you asked! Although, happy hour has its place - we'll also be planning more active events like hikes and nature walks, outings to museums, gallery tours, and art walks. We also hope to attend concerts, go dancing, bowling, play miniature golf, see movies, and play boardgames. If there is interest, perhaps we can even go thrifting, check out antique shops, fleamarkets, or just window-shop/shop together and then have lunch or coffee! How super girly and fun is that? Going to a spa as a group is another option - who doesn't like a little pampering? As the group grows we might even plan day trips to places like Pittsburgh, Marblehead, Columbus, etc. - maybe I can get a brave bunch of ladies to come along for a day trip? :)

Why create this group?
Why not? But seriously - sometimes it's hard enough to connect with other people, especially when you might be nervous about revealing your lack of belief. This is a safe space! We're all non-believers here. So you can relax, have fun, be social, and be yourself without worrying what others might think!
