Do you own a Raspberry Pi?

No, Black seems better for my needs.

Have you used an Arduino or other small microcontroller?

Currently 2 Beaglebone Blacks.

Do you program? What languge(s)?

Shell, C/Go, Haskell, Ruby, depending on the need. Learning Javascript to use Bonescript library.

Do you build circuits?

I did many digital circuits in college, not much since, though the GPIO connectors on the Black make me want to wire up something on a breadboard.

Do you see the Rasberry Pi as (a) a sort of small tablet/mobile computer (b) a headless hardware controller (c) some other wacky thing (d) that's the Big Question, isn't it?

Mostly a headless client computer for a small distributed grid or client/server system each running Inferno, over which I can distribute jobs with the build tool on which I'm working.

Software build engineer for a financial company. Worked for Motorola building software for network infrastructure for 16 years, then 2 at Electric Cloud as professional services. Computer Engineering BS from Penn State.
