There's a lot of confusion about async/await, Task/TPL, and asynchronous and parallel programming in general. This session starts with the basics and looks at how to consume asynchronous methods using Task and then see how the "await" operator can makes things easier. Along the way, you'll also look at continuations, cancellation, and exception handling.

When you arrive
Due to security considerations you will need to come to the security station on the 1st floor between 6:15-7PM. A Parametric representative will be by the bench at the back of the lobby and will shuttle you to the 30th floor from there. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to escort you to the event after 7PM. Please arrive before 7PM.
The building parking garage locks at 7PM. We encourage you to find parking on the street, in an outside lot, or use alternative transportation.
