Azure Cognitive Services enable natural and contextual interaction with tools that augment users' experiences using the power of machine-based intelligence. Tap into an ever-growing collection of powerful artificial intelligence algorithms for vision, speech, language, and knowledge.

This will be a hands-on lab with the audience to write an MVC Web app in Visual Studio. The audience will learn how to read and write blobs in C#, and how to use blob metadata to attach additional information to the blobs we create.

Since this is a hand-on lab, do not forget to bring with you a fully charged laptop. Free WIFI and a free temporary Azure account will be provided.

Yash Manivannan is a Technical Evangelist at Microsoft Canada based in Vancouver. He has been a part of the Microsoft Student Partner program since 2013, working with students and faculty teaching them about various Microsoft Technologies. He obtained his first diploma in web designing when he was thirteen and has continued to stay updated in areas such as cloud computing, data sciences etc., He loves to inspire fellow learners through interesting stories and experiences.
