Come calibrate your monitor, converse, and connet with other ladies with the same interest!
This Meetup will be the first meeting for you to use the "group" calibrator to calibrate you monitor so that what your monitor shows is a true representation of what your actual image will look like when it is printed. This is an important step for printing for the group exhibit in January at the Beaverton City Hall. If you are interested in doing this, please download the "free" software at the following website: xritephoto.com. This calibrator works for a pc or a Mac computer. We purchased it for all our members to use.
Attention: You must bring a laptop with you if you are going to calibrate your computer monitor
The process of calibrating your monitor takes minutes not hours, but we can only do one monitor at a time, so we will do as many as possible this first meeting. If you are new or not planning to submitt any entries for the exhibition, please come and socialize but let those who will be printing soon for the exhibition have priority to use the calibrator. We will have other meetings where it is available again. (In fact, Lori has offered to host another "potluck" in June. Plus if you have a desktop instead of a laptop computer, we may workout a borrowing system.
Plus, since this is starting right about dinner time, we thought it would be nice to have a potluck. So bring some food to share with everyone. Also bring someting to drink. Let us know in coments if you know already what food you'll be bringing.
Let me know if you have any quetions about this event!
