Our Kick-Off Meetup

This is the NH Data Science Meetup's Inaugural Event! Let's kick off what promises to be a great series of meetups in New Hampshire focused on all things data science.

All are welcome. You don't have to be an expert to attend.

However, if you're interested in presenting to the group, please let us know, we're always looking for presentation topics and speakers for this or future events.

Since this is our first meetup, I thought we'd do something fun -- we'll be meeting in Manchester NH at the World Sports Grille (http://worldsportsgrille.com/)

50 Phillippe Cote Street
Manchester, NH 03101
(603)[masked]

(The old Jillian's building)

The evening runs from 6:30 - 8:30 PM. We'll have some drinks, light appetizers, and have two great presentations lined up:

First, Gwen Britton,  PhD (Executive Director, SNHU) will be discussing "Educating Future Data Scientists Online"

Second, Doug Domeny (Principal Software Engineer, Newforma) will show how to create "Data Visualizations with D3.js"

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Hey thanks everyone for attending and again to Doug and Gwen for their presentations. It was great to have such a fantastic turnout for our first meetup, especially considering the group is just getting started. A number of people have volunteered to present, so I'm in the process of reaching out and working through a calendar for the next few months.

Great job organizers and speakers. Mentioned a NH Tech Event calendar to find great events like this one, it can be found here - http://goo.gl/2q3vMj

If you need a location for the meetup, we may be able to use Meltwater's Office in the Millyard.
