3D Printed Ornament Exchange at NVCC!
Details
• What we'll do
Print and exchange Christmas Ornaments with the Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge campus!
The exchange goes like this:
Everyone comes in and places their ornaments into a pool. The ornaments are then evaluated and assigned a number value between 1 and 20. The more interesting ornaments are given 20 points the less so are given less than that. E.G. a simple small snowflake would be one point, an ornament that is over 10 inches would likely be 20. We then add up all the points and people "shop" one at a time spending all of their points. At the end of the shopping, is a "social hour" and the swapping commences, perhaps a participant wants a full set of four, perhaps a participant wants one large ornament versus many small ones, etc. There is no money exchanged under any circumstances, and the event is over after the social hour. It worked out pretty well last year, we went according to birthday as the starting point. • What to bring
