AC: Tassel Making Workshop

Skill level: Beginner
Learn tassel construction and twisted cord technique!
Once you can make tassels, the sky’s the limit. Add a pop of fun to your purse, shawl, or table runner. Make colorful jewelry. Adorn your medieval reenactment or cosplay clothing. Decorate a room for any season!

You will learn how to:
• make traditional and modern tassels using a variety of fibers
• trim tassels perfectly every time
• hide your knots
• center a looped cord in the top of a tassel
• make permanently-twisted cording in one or more colors
• make tassel earrings

Student minimum age: 14

Requirements: None. All materials and tools are provided, but feel free to bring any yarn scraps you'd like to use.
