AC: Crochet: An introduction
Details
This is a very basic introduction class. We will cover basic terms and the most common stitches, different styles of hooks, and yarn construction variations.
We will be working with worsted to bulky weight yarn in light/bright colors so it's easier to learn to read the stitches you create.

This book is invaluable if you want to learn to read written patterns as easily as crochet stitch charts. Used copies on Amazon are typically under $10, or you can request a copy from your local library if available.
