This is the follow-on to the MIG 101/TIG 101 class where the student learns how to hone their skills doing a project or make a metal sculpture. If the student wants to update their skills and doesn’t have a project in mind, there will be a few projects and materials available.

Let the instructor know if you need a project prior to the class and suggestions/material will be provided.

If the student has a project in mind, the student and the instructor will work through the feasibility of the project and outline next steps. Suggest that the student contact the instructor prior to the class if they have a project in mind and document what they want to do, materials required and what instructor help they need.

This class is a seminar format, and the student can take the class/session numerous times to complete their project or learn something new.
This is NOT a sign off class, the student will already have the following
- Prerequisites:
- Green Orientation is required
-Yellow Metal Sign-Off is required
- MIG 101 and/or TIG 101 Sign off.
- Recent experience with the MIG or TIG welder

- Mandatory Safety Dress Code: Metalshop dress code enforced. Comfortable closed-toe shoes; no jewelry; no loose clothing; long pants, and hair/beard tied back. ==>DO NOT wear synthetics.

Note: Must arrive within 15 minutes of sign off class start time.
