LC_S: Laser Cutter 101 Sign Off

Get signed off to use our laser cutters with this lecture and hands-on class. The process is a simple one, but this class is critical for your safety and that of the laser equipment. Makers will engrave and cut a Nova Labs keychain.

Nova Labs currently has two 100W CO2 laser cutters. This class signs off for use of either laser. To maximize your learning, we highly recommend you prepare for class by watching the training video before class.

Sign Off: Laser Cutter

Prerequisite: none. However, the sign off is not documented unless you are a member at the time of the class.

Instructor: Andrew Albosta has been coming to Nova Labs since late 2013 and it was all because of the laser cutter. A multimedia designer by day doing videography, graphics, and photography work, he moves from shop to shop at Nova Labs and might turn up anywhere.
