Graphic Recording - It’s So Meta

As graphic recorders, we are usually off to the side, doing our scribe thing. Rarely do we get to listen to leading practitioners talk about how they do what they do. Let’s spend one of our evening NOVA Scribes doing just that. This session will feature panelists local to the DMV area. Lauren Green will moderate.

So what makes this a “meta” experience? We don’t want you to just sit and watch. We will have paper hung all over the walls. Bring your markers, sketchbook, or iPad, and use this as an opportunity to practice small or at the wall. If we have more than 10 attendees, we will also practice “tandem” graphic recording.

We welcome veteran and emerging visual practitioners!

SPECIAL NOTES:
We will not be discussing cost structure or business advice.
Light snacks will be provided. Please eat dinner beforehand.

If you have your own markers, please bring a few to practice with. We will have a few practice supplies on hand. If you are sketch-noting or doing digital scribing, please bring your favorite note-taking tools.
