Systems Scribing - Kelvy Bird

Details

Visual practitioners illustrate the unseen. They help participants understand complexities and abstractions. Of all the visual practitioners who focus on seeing systems, KELVY BIRD is internationally recognized by her peers as the pioneer and master of the art. She is the author of the breakthrough book “Generative Scribing” on the role of the graphic recorder in surfacing hidden dynamics in group discussions. She has shared her unique approach to scribing with thousands of visual practitioners across the world.

In this experiential webinar, Kelvy will provide an overview of the methods and models she teaches in her Systems Scribing Lab (https://tinyurl.com/rjva4xj.) She’ll cover the basics of this new methodology, merging systems thinking with scribing, and include:

  • An overview of the framework: Levels of Scribing
  • A description and examples of systems scribing
  • A concrete tool for modeling systems
  • Time for practice, and break outs to share the learning
  • Room for questions and answers
