Graphic Jam and Toast!

It's an online NOVA Scribes Happy Hour!
But of course, this being NOVA Scribes, there's drawing involved. Bring your favorite drawing supplies: we're going to do a graphic jam!

What's a graphic jam?
We'll share a drawing prompt, then give you a minute or so to draw it. Then you share your work, and you'll also get see what everyone else came up with! A graphic jam is a fast and fun way to build your visual vocabulary, practice fast drawing, and learn from others. It's like practice sprints for visual practitioners.

You can share your drawing however you want to: stream from your iPad or tablet, try out that document camera, or just hold up your paper to your webcam! So this will be a great way to experiment with any new remote scribing set ups you've been wanting to try.

Where's the toast?
Well, it's a BYOB happy hour. We'd send you booze, but apparently there are laws against that. And we just thought "jam and toast" was too cute. (Get it? Jam, like, graphic jam? Toast, as in, cheers? And, toast and jam? ...it gets better the more you think about it.)

So get your markers and paper (or tablet and stylus), get your favorite beverage, and join us for drawing, sipping, and fun!
