What we're about
NSCoder is a meetup for those who develop for Mac and/or iOS, or want to learn about doing so. We've been in getting together in Chicago for over 20 years, and currently meet on the last Tuesday of every month. Come hang out and see what people have been working on. Our schedule usually looks something like this:
6 - 6:30: Eat pizza, have a drink (BYOB), meet some new people
6:30ish - 7ish: Lightning talks
7 on: More hanging out
Have a project you'd like to show off? Have you recently conquered some poorly-written API and want to demonstrate your workaround? To give a lightning talk, just contact Jacob Van Order to get on the list, at jacob at sushi grass dot com. Sign up is appreciated, but not required: last-minute talks are always welcome. Plan on speaking for 5-10 minutes, tops.
