What we're about

MacOS and iOS developers unite! Monthly informal "get together and code" sessions as well as more targeted topic-based events, all in one handy group. Share projects you're working on; get some coding done; ask your fellow developers for help and tips; and most importantly, build cool things and ship some apps!

NSCoder Toronto - Coding Night

590 King St W

Join us for an evening of coding and camaraderie at NSCoder night. macOS and iOS developers of all skill levels are welcome! We're a code-focused group, so you'll almost certainly want to bring your own laptop. We show off apps in progress, troubleshoot animation glitches, and debate the merits of Android. What are you waiting for? Come join in, get some code written, and build something cool! This month TouchBistro has offered to host us at their office @ 590 King St. West. 2nd floor. https://goo.gl/maps/uWFktB2GAFN2 It's best to show up at 6:00 pm. Please note that after 6:30 pm it will be more difficult to get in and you'll need to message one of us to open the door. Schedule for tonight: 6:00 - 6:30: Doors open/Mingle 6:30 - 7:15: Show & Tell 7:15 - 8:00: Coding

NSCoder Night Toronto West

Studio 89

This West End branch of NSCoder Night Toronto meets the second Wednesday night of every quarter at the same spot and time in Mississauga. We've taken the guesswork out of when and where. This is a get-together for iOS/Mac developers. If you've got a project you want to hack on, or a problem you'd like help with, bring it along. If not, just bring yourself and something to work on. Developers of all experience levels are more than welcome. Who should join: Objective-C and Swift developers of all experience levels are welcome! Even if you've never even opened Xcode, we'd love to help get you up to speed! Why you should join: No matter what your experience level, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better way to be able to ask other devs the questions that are keeping you up at night. It's also a great opportunity to solidify your knowledge by teaching. Additionally, there will be plenty of great conversation with a group of intelligent, like-minded people. What can you expect? This meetup is super laid back. After a brief introduction, we'll naturally fall into smaller working groups. People might be working individually, or in small groups, but there will always be interesting conversations about areas of iOS/Mac development that you might not be aware of. If attending, please do purchase food and/or a drink item to support the venue. About Studio 89 (http://www.studio89.org/) This is setup as a non-profit; it's a funky one-off coffee shop with lots of space and personality that's been gracious enough to allow us to make use of this space on a regular basis.
