Hackerschool: Introduction to HTML/CSS

A basic introduction to web development. You will learn HTML, CSS and how to create a simple website! This workshop is free and open to the public. It will be held on the 7th of September, Saturday, from 1.00 PM to 4.00 PM in Lecture Theatre 15 (LT15), AS6, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences in NUS.

You will be learning:

1. What is HTML?

• Hands-on - Raw HTML structure
• Headings
• Divs
• Lists
• Images

2. What is CSS?

• Hands-on: Adding styling to HTML
• Color, background
• Margin, padding, border
• Flex box

3. How to host your own HTML Page

Remember to bring a fully charged laptop as power points are limited!
