See all- Make 5 Translucent Florals Cards Class - 7 October 2023Starbucks, Spring, TX$25.00
We're going to make these 5 greeting cards in our class Saturday, 7 October at Starbucks. These cards use Stampin' Up! products from the current catalogs or Online Exclusives. We'll use techniques like die cutting, dry embossing, fancy-folds and more. You'll leave with 5 projects you'll be proud to send someone special or you can use your cards as samples or templates to make more projects on your own.
We get together at Starbucks a couple times a month, and would love to have you join us. We'll be at the big table where we can spread out and have a great time crafting together and assembling our Class Projects.
The 5-Card Class is $25.00. When you register, you'll pay with PayPal. Payment in advance for the 5-card class is required.
Immediate following this class: Stay for Stampin' Up! World Card Making Day, which is a virtual FREE class led by Stampin' Up! where we'll make 3 additional cards!! Sign up on my Meetup separately for Stampin' Up! World Card Making Day. We'll each use our mobile phone and headphones to dial in to the virtual event. I'll provide the stamp sets, dies and punches plus precut the Cardstock we'll use for these additional 3 cards.
Things to bring to class: Bring a bone folder, your favorite scissors, your own snail adhesive and/or a wet adhesive, like Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive or Stampin' Seal Adhesive, Glue Dots and Dimensionals. New stampers can use mine if you're new to stamping.
Stamps on stamping blocks, die cuts, papers, envelopes, and embellishments are provided with the class fee,
We'll have a great time crafting together, chatting and drinking coffee or your favorite beverage, as we create these projects.

It's time to celebrate one of our favorite days of the year--World Card Making Day, 07 October 2023, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM (CT). This is a Free Event.
If you're in the Houston area, invite your friends, and fellow crafting enthusiast to craft along with you, me and Stampin' Up! as we express our creativity and make fabulous cards. We'll be at Starbucks on Louetta and Kuykendahl at 3:00 pm. In just under three hours, we'll cerate three unique cards together. Everyone is invited. Join us to to chat, drink coffee and have a good time.
We'll be at the big table where we can spread out and craft together. We'll be using these stamps and dies for this event:
- Circle Saying Bundle, Item 161355
- Earthen Textures Bundle, Item 161514
- Heartfelt Hexagon Bundle, Item 162889
And we'll be using Die Cuts, Punches, Core Colors Stampin' Write Markers, Watercolor Paper and Water Painters, which I'll provideFor those who register, I'll cut cardstock and bring the above stamps and dies to use to make our cards
Step 1: Again, there's no charge for the World Card Making Day event, but, please RSVP on this Meetup site so we know how many seats to save.
Step 2: Checklist of things to bring:
Stampin' Up! is leading this Virtual World Card Making Day, so bring your full charged mobile phone and a headset/ear buds so you can watch along with the demonstrations while we make the same three cards being demonstrated. If you have a stand for your phone, you'll also find it useful. You'll receive a packet of supplies from me for each of the three cards, plus you'll share my stamp sets, dies and punches.Also, bring a bone folder, your favorite scissors, snail adhesive and or a wet adhesive, like Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive and Dimensionals. First-time stampers can use my supplies.
Step 3: Visit the Stampin' Up! site and register for World Card Making Day. A few days before the event, they will send you a link to the Virtual Event Platform we'll watch the day of the Event. Give it a try before we meet so you're all set for the start of the event at 3:00 pm
