Painted Poppies Card Class #15 - January 12, 2020
Details
For many of us, the new year is a time to try something new as one of our New Year's goals. Or, you want to get better at a hobby you enjoy. Maybe you've opened your 2020 yearly calendar and decided this is the year you're going to send birthday cards to every one of your family members, relatives, and close friends. Start the year right by attending this fun card class. Celebrations happen all year long and you know you'll need greeting cards for many different special occasions.
Your hand-made cards are very meaningful to your friends and family. Start this year by creating these 6 cards, which you can use as samples or templates to make more cards on your own. The Peaceful Poppies Suite we're using for this class is one of newest, hot stamp and die sets from the Stampin' Up! January-June 2020 Mini Catalog, introduced January 3. This suite includes two stamp sets and two sets of coordinating dies, plus designer series papers and accessories. This class gives you the opportunity to use all of this suite. You'll finish this class with a collection of beautiful cards. And, you'll feel more comfortable with all of the many pieces in this suite.
We'll make six cards including envelopes. Think how much fun you'll have sending these personalized cards to friends and family. Take a look at close up photos for this class here (https://www.meetup.com/NW-Houston-F-M-1960-Spring-CardMakers/photos/30647673/).
New stampers, experienced stampers, and other Stampin' Up! demonstrators are always welcome. It's a great way to create samples, share ideas and learn from each other. We have a great bunch of stampers who enjoy joking and laughing while stamping the afternoon away.
Our Australian Shepherd, Cookie, greets all guests with doggy kisses and happy barking, and she loves hugs from all visitors. We would love to have you join us!
