Fwd: Appeal to Republican candidates

John Beck has what I think is a great idea.  I can't guarantee results, but it doesn't cost much.   The names for statewide offices such as senator, lands commissioner, etc., are good for everyone in Washington.  Replace the names running for congressional districts, counties, and such.  Put your name and address at the bottom of the letter.

[Spokane-Libertarians] FW: Appeal to Republican candidates

I just sent the e-mail below to Republican candidates in Washington.  If others would send similar e-mails to Republican candidates and make the Republican leadership realize that their tactics are costing them votes in other races, maybe they would stop their anti-competitive tactics.

Subject: Appeal to Republican candidates
I am a supporter of Gary Johnson for President, and am deeply disturbed by the tactics of the Republican National Committee and the Romney campaign to keep the Libertarian ticket off the ballot in Michigan, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania and other states.  I do not expect the RNC or the Romney campaign to be influenced by any appeal I might make to them, so I am appealing to you, as Republican candidates, to speak out against these tactics which alienate voters like me from the Republican Party in general.
I previously would have voted for Republican candidates in races in which no Libertarian is running, but if the Republican Party persists in tactics to deny Gary Johnson ballot access in Michigan, Pennsylvania and other states, I will vote for Democrats in every race rather than vote for any candidate associated with a Republican Party that strives to limit the choices available to voters.
If you want my vote in the office you are seeking, tell your national party leaders to stop these anti-competitive tactics.
