Augspurger Mountain hike

http://photos1.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/a/8/e/event_222962702.jpegIt was my intention to do a double Dog in the 13th but it looks as if it's going to rain so let's do a regular hike instead. From reading the description it seems that the main thing this hike has going for it is that it's long with some good altitude gain. Not very scenic from the looks of it and a bit early for wild flowers which would have made it a bit nicer. Don't expect too much and you won't be disappointed.
Distance: 15 miles
Altitude gain: 4,400 feet
Difficulty rating: Difficult to Very Difficult. The on line sites are rating it Very Difficult but I have my doubts.
Gas: 100 miles rt; $10 for gas
Bring: Ten essentials, lunch, snacks, water, non-cotton clothing.
