This is one of the fastest growing coed football meetups in NYC! With a perfect mix of young professionals, range of athleticism, and 3 hours of the best football workout of your life, this could be the perfect group for you. Our quarterbacks are hand selected by the organizers based on their athletic ability, willingness to spread the ball around, and overall attitude. We meet once a week, Sundays from 10am-1pm, from November to April and play at Riverside Park near 103rd Street.
$10 per game for 3 hours of play, which covers the ever increasing permit cost, meetup fees, equipment, and organizational duties. You can pay directly online when you RSVP.
The skill level of the group is intermediate, but all levels are welcomed. You must be 21 years old to play.
Be a good member!
This group is not for everyone. We are young professionals with easy going attitudes and have no interest in overly aggressive, dangerous play. We reserve the right to remove members who are not a fit.
There are three games remaining in the season!
The location is at our usual spot (on the soccer field that shares the space with a baseball field - 103rd and the Hudson River. When you get to 103rd and Riverside drive, enter the park, going towards the highway, veer right, and the field is adjacent to the highway.
WE ARE ALWAYS LOOKING FOR GOOD QBs.
SNOW is potentially in the forecast, so dress warm....or you know, wear shorts like the dedicated players you are.
The game will either be capped at 16 for 1 game or 32 for 2 concurrent games so please RSVP to save your spot. If something comes up last minute, that’s fine, please adjust your response accordingly on the web site preferably the night before so somebody else can sign up & attend. Courtesy is required, otherwise there is a chance that you will be removed from the list. If you are on the waiting list, make sure you check it before the game b/c there is a chance that somebody changed his/her response and the computer automatically put on the "attending" list.
Just a reminder, if you are interested in tackle football or playing aggressively in a way that causes harm to other players, this is definitely not the league for you. Although many of us play hard and are talented athletes, safety is always the #1 priority. We are most interested in playing with people that are positive, good sports and know how to have fun. Please look at the “pages” tab so you are familiar with the rules, thank you.
If you have trouble finding the field, text Mishka at[masked]. If it is your first time, you probably want to arrive early. I usually am not near my phone once we start playing.
See you Sunday.
