16th Hardware Meetup: Hardware Making Cities Better

Details
Hey hardwarians,
It's that time of month again where we get together to talk all things hardware related. And we have an awesome theme for you this month: Hardware Making Cities Better, in conjunction with MINI.
A month ago we challenged you to come up with hardware based solutions that improve life in the city - connected devices, infrastructure and services that make life in a place like New York more enjoyable, more secure or more sustainable. We have now chosen our finalists who will pitch it out on the night for eternal glory in the hardware community of NY - now that's some serious street cred.
The finalists are:
-
Birdi (http://getbirdi.com/): smart air monitor for your home.
-
RadiatorLabs (http://radiatorlabs.com/): a cozy that can solve your overheating problems in your steam heated NY apartment (you know exactly what I mean).
-
Hevo (http://www.hevopower.com/): wireless electrical charging for commercial vehicles? Yes please!
-eKick (http://ekick.co/): charge your battery while cruising on your skate board? Now it's possible!
- Enertiv (http://www.enertiv.com/): do you know how much energy your home or building consumes. With Enertiv you can now see it with total clarity.
Looking forward to seeing you all and seeing the creativity of the community!
Haytham
