We're back with another Hardware Meetup and it couldn't come at a better time. Those of us on the East Coast are still digging ourselves out of the snow, and there's more in the forecast 🥶 I'm looking forward to a warm drink and great talks about hardware startups.

7:20 - 8:00pm Diana Pincus is a product development and manufacturing operations executive with 15 years experience. She is currently the VP of Operations at Sphero (https://sphero.com/), the industry leader in edtech programmable robots and STEAM-based educational tools. Prior to Sphero, Diana was VP of Product Development & Operations at littleBits (acquired by Sphero in Aug 2019) and VP Operations at MakerBot, the desktop 3D printer company (acquired by Stratasys in 2013). Diana will be discussing the human side of Mergers & Acquisitions.

8:00 - 8:40pm Suma is a mission-driven entrepreneur who has co-founded companies in agtech, climatetech and LGBTQ arts. She is CEO of Future Acres (https://www.futureacres.co/), an agricultural robotics startup developing semi-autonomous transport vehicles for speciality crops. She began her career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Mali. Suma teaches the “Future of Food: Entrepreneurship as Activism” at NYC’s School of Visual Arts, is a Venture Partner at Republic, and is an Advisory Board Member of Scale for Climatetech. Suma will discuss product strategy development at Future Acres, including why and how they decided to first work on solving transport challenges for table grape farmers.
