79th Hardware Meetup: Decentralized Internet & Kickstarter Masterclasses

It's time for another Hardware Meetup! We're meeting virtually again, but we have a great in-person event planned for December. More about that during this month's meetup!

7:00 - 7:10pm Mix & mingle in topical breakout rooms

7:10 - 7:20pm Welcome notes

7:20 - 8:00pm Scott Sigel is the Director of the Decentralized Wireless Alliance (Helium Foundation), where he and his team are building a new paradigm in decentralized wireless infrastructure with the Helium Blockchain (https://www.helium.com/). Scott will discuss how Helium fuses LoRaWAN and blockchain technologies to make the largest, fastest growing decentralized wireless network on the planet.

8:00 - 8:40pm Julio Terra is the CEO of Launch Studio (https://www.launchstudio.com/), an education studio that runs a course and membership community for creators looking to launch products using crowdfunding. Prior to founding Launch Studio, Julio led the Design & Technology Community team at Kickstarter, where he worked closely with hardware startups from around the world.
