Squeal, a Deep Embedding of SQL in Haskell

Eitan Chatav will introduce Squeal, a new SQL library for Haskell. Along the way, he'll demonstrate how new features of GHC, like DataKinds, Generics, and OverloadedLabels, as well as abstractions like indexed monads, GADTs, categories, and actions, can help embed a complex DSL in Haskell in a type-safe way.
