1st Session

[JSS, GraphQL, and xConnect in Omnichannel Commerce]

xConnect is a cornerstone of the Sitecore platform. But how much have you actually had some hands-on to this components? Let's dive into the details of xConnect in the context of Sitecore Experience Commerce with this Question: How can we use xConnect as the basis for creating true Omnichannel e-commerce experiences?

We will look at some real hands-on examples, the results and we'll look at what code and configuration is needed to get it running.
We will also look at JSS and GraphQL in the same context. JSS and GraphQL are some of the latest additions to the Sitecore Platform.
Let's look at look at some small and strong features that these components can be used for to further enhance our eCommerce experiences.

Roland is a Software Solutions Architect and Sitecore MVP, with experience in a wide number of technologies and environments. He has been working with Sitecore since version 4.x., and has hands-on experience with large Sitecore implementations. [Modern loyalty programs - Experience Commerce & Email Experience Manager (from a developer perspective)]

Using Sitecore Experience Commerce (XC) and Sitecore Experience Manager (EXM), we've created a modern loyalty program for our restaurant brands that has helped to reduce churn, increase retention rates, and drive category sales online through marketing campaigns and marketing automation. In this session, we will show you how we implemented the solution and how our clients and their customers have reaped the benefits of loyalty programs.

Speakers: Akshay Sura and Kamruz Jaman

Akshay is a five-time Sitecore MVP who has spent more than a decade working exclusively on Sitecore projects. In addition to his work as a solution architect, Akshay is also one of the founders of SUGCON NA 2015 and the Sitecore Slack Group, which has more than 2900 members from around the world.

Kamruz is an independent Sitecore specialist and five-time Technology MVP. Kamruz has over 15 years of development and architecture experience using the Microsoft technology stack, having spent the majority of his career in industries such as finance, technology, e-commerce, pharmaceutical, distribution, insurance, and travel. Having worked exclusively with Sitecore for the past 9 years, Kamruz is heavily involved in the Sitecore Community and has spoken at various User Groups and Conferences. He also actively shares his knowledge with the community through his blog, Slack, StackOverflow/StackExchange, and the Sitecore Forums.

Mike Reynolds, also known as the Sitecore Junkie, the Sitecore Wizard or just "Mike", is a Sitecore MVP with almost twelve years of Sitecore architecture and development experience with a proven track record of pushing the envelope of the Sitecore Experience Platform to deliver best-of-breed solutions for clients. A well-known thought leader in the Sitecore community, Reynolds was recognized as a Sitecore Technology MVP from 2014 - 2018 for his community contributions.
