Live Code - Eclipse with the Android SDK and Genymotion with Ann Malavet!

Hey Folks!

We're happy to announce another Android Live Code scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 at 7pm with Ann Malavet (http://www.linkedin.com/in/annmalavet) (Mobile Developer @ NYU (http://www.nyu.edu/))! Ann will build a hangman app in less than an hour using Eclipse (https://www.eclipse.org/) with the Android SDK. In addition, Ann will discuss Genymotion (http://www.genymotion.com/) as an option for Android emulators.

Here are a few of the things that Ann will be covering:

-formatting layouts

-reading a text file using InputStreamReader

-using Shared Preferences to keep score

-animation (for the hangman)

We encourage you to install genymotion (http://www.genymotion.com) and bring your laptops to code along with Ann.
