Hands-on Workshop - Using the Airflow 'Breeze' Development Environment

Details

We're offering a special second meetup this month! It's a hands-on workshop for those who want to get a feel for using the super-productive 'Breeze' development environment to contribute to Airflow. It's a great low stress opportunity to wade into the world of open source development and contribution. Again, this workshop will be in addition to the talk that will be held on Monday, August 26th.

The session will be geared towards Mac and Linux users but Windows users are welcome to sit in. In preparation for the class, please make sure you have setup the following prerequisites:
https://github.com/apache/airflow/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#prerequisites

The class will be given by Jared Potiuk of Polidea and Viraj Parekh of Astronomer. Here's a blog post that gives you some context for the class:

Please enter the Times building on the 41st street side entrance and sign in at the security desk nearest to that entrance. There will be a person there with an 'Airflow Meetup' sign.
