This meetup will dip into how to ingest data into CockroachDB from a multitude of sources using ApacheNiFi. You will see how CockroachDB makes data easy and how Apache NiFi makes data flow easy. With technical overviews and demos of both CockroachDB and Apache Nifi, we are going to deep dive into why these technologies work great for data ingestion, database migrations, performance testing, and rapid prototyping.

Chris Casano is a solution engineer at Cockroach Labs. His passion resides in assisting customers on use cases, technical adoption and success with CockroachDB. He has implemented and assisted customers with data solutions in multiple industries for over 20 years. Prior to Cockroach Labs, he ran the Northeast Solution Engineering team at Hortonworks / Cloudera.
