HTML/CSS web projects!

Hi coders!

We just released our new HTML and CSS web projects (https://www.codecademy.com/en/courses/html-css-prj?utm_campaign=2015_07_28_htmlcssprojects&utm_source=meetup)! Yay!

At this Meetup, we'll be going through why projects are important, how they differ from our courses, and how they'll catapult you into mastering the concepts you need to create your own website. We'll talk about some of the projects and what they teach, get to know one another, and start coding!

Join us at our Codecademy HQ for an evening of learning the basic web concepts you need to succeed in front end web development.

What will you be doing?

• Hanging out with the Codecademy team!

• Getting to know our new projects and what you can do with them.

• Bring your laptop—you’ll start coding HTML/CSS projects with support from your fellow learners and our Codecademy team.

If you want to work on the Make A Website (https://www.codecademy.com/en/skills/make-a-website) course at this Meetup, you can! We'll give folks working on the same course their own area so they can support one another.

This is a great opportunity to get started with projects for the first time. We’ll have snacks and drinks for brain food and will answer any questions you have about our newest skill. Can't wait to meet everyone!
