Winter Film Awards presents... 48 Hour Film Challenge! (2012)

I know this is last minute but we are getting involved with the Queens Filmmakers and VFX (https://www.meetup.com/queensfilm/) and working on a 48 hour film contest. We are primarily looking for actors (non-union only as per contest rules) for a short we will be working on next week. We are meeting on Wednesday to fill out the paperwork, finish the planning and discuss all the details. For More information go to http://www.WinterFilmAwards.com

On Friday evening, 8pm, November 30th participants of this event will be given a genre, tag line and prop that must be included in an up to 7 minute video short. We will have 48 hours to complete the video and hand deliver to the WFA office by 9pm Sunday evening.

On SATURDAY DECEMBER 8, the best entries as judged by the WFA Jury will be screened at the CHELSEA MANOR (138 West 25th Street, New York NY 10001) from 3-6pm, followed by an Award Ceremony, awesome prizes and networking party until 8pm. Prizes will be awarded for BEST PICTURE and FAN FAVORITE. Entry is $10, open to all ages and includes drink specials and discounts all night.There are prizes for the best films (although that is not our main objective, but it is nice). The winners will announced on November 8th.
