Join Abdul Ahat of Caravan Uyghur as you learn to make staple dishes from the Uyghur region of Northwest China!
For those unfamiliar, the Uyghur people have faced unspeakable persecution from the Chinese government.
While Chef Abdul plans to speak more on this, he also wants to share the loving and hospitable nature reflective of his people.
In this hands-on class, you’ll learn to make Samsa along with Laghman noodles, a very popular dish utilizing a laborious hand-pulled technique.
Following the class, you’ll sit down to a family style meal that will include more Samsa, Laghman noodles and their must-try traditional Saffron tea.

Join Segun Odofa of Delicious African Orchards, as he guides you through the world of African cuisine.
On arrival, guests will be greeted by a curated list of African music to set the mood before Chef Segun provides guided instruction on making four distinct dishes. In this hands-on class, guests will learn to make dishes that represent the diversity and depth of flavor that African cuisine has to offer.
Focused on a variety of African regions, and international influences from places like Jamaica and East Asia, Segun will share the story behind each dish and what makes them special to him. Afterwards, guests will gather for a family-style meal and mingle along with Segun for one magical afternoon.

With an extensive and acclaimed background in wine, Camille will guide the discussion as you taste through 8 glasses from three different varieties.Utilizing techniques like comparative tasting and tools like a flavor wheel, you’ll soon learn to identify colors, aromatics and flavor with ease all while developing your own preferences and tastes.
By the end of the class, you’ll leave with a solid wine foundation and a strong grasp of the lingo when discussing and describing wine at your next tasting, wine run or night out.
