Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality is revolutionizing the theme park industry while also creating a new form of storytelling for filmmakers. Recently, Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality dominated Comic-Con, while filmmakers Alexandro Inaritu (Oscar winning director of Birdman) and Steven Spielberg have embraced VR while saying it is an entire new breed of cinema.

Time will be dedicated to mingling over bottomless draft beer on tap. While also trying VR experiences.

Discussion:
At this Meetup we will have a discussion about the importance of using licensed and known popular franchised properties (example: Marvel VR, Ghostbusters by The Void) and location based entertainment for the growth and development of Virtual Reality.

Ilya Polokhin is the founder of Hubneo VR Lab. Hubneo VR Lab. The Hubneo VR Lab provides a space for people to immerse themselves in virtual worlds using state of the art VR equipment and unique motion simulation systems. They also make content flight and motion simulators for location based VR centers.

Everyone will be able to experience VR cinematic content in a group-cinema style in a way that is social. A new way to experience VR and 360 content.
