EVENT DETAILS
11:00AM - NETWORKING: Doors open, head to the room identified when you check in. Grab some food thanks to GrapeCity and take the opportunity mingle with your fellow community developers.
11:30AM - MAIN PRESENTATION: Scott Hanselman will present on the last 10 years of .NET and explore the next 10 years in this demo-filled session. .NET went open source (really, really open source) a few years back, but what's been made newly possible? How flexible is it? How open is it? How big can it scale, and how small can it get? How do we reconcile .NET Core, .NET Framework, and Mono? Where does WebAssembly fit in? What about WinForms and WPF? Cross platform UI?
Scott Hanselman (https://twitter.com/shanselman) is a Principal Program Manager at Microsoft. He has written code that you've used. Scott has been blogging for over a decade, coding for twice that, and podcasting for over half that. He codes, writes, speaks, empowers, promotes, braids, learns and listens - usually not in that order.
