Interested in contributing to open source software? Come join us on Thursday, October 1st for our 2nd annual .NET Hacktoberfest celebration. Hacktoberfest is a month-long celebration of open source software. Maintainers are invited to guide would-be contributors towards issues that will help move the project forward, and contributors get the opportunity to give back to both projects they like and others they've just discovered. No contribution is too small — bug fixes and documentation updates are valid ways of participating.
7:00PM - INTRODUCTION: An introduction to what Hacktoberfest is all about and contributing to .NET open source projects.
7:15PM - OPEN SOURCE PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS: Maintainers from popular .NET open source projects will give a quick pitch on how and why you should contribute to their project.
