Python Workshop I: Pandas for data analysis

Speaker Bio:

John Downs is a software engineer at On Deck. He has been programming in Python for several years. John also has interests in Machine Learning and Data Mining.

Preparation:

Bring your favorite editor and python shell. Install pandas with 'pip install pandas'.

Agenda:
7-8: The talk with start with a very brief overview of the Python language for those who might not be familiar. Then we'll dive into using Pandas to do some analysis and visualization.
8-9: We'll break into groups to give everyone a chance to apply the material from the talk.
