A Match Games Singles Game Night is a revolutionary new event that is changing the way singles meet. It's a fun new twist on speed dating! Let's face it, we're all tired of the endless online swiping on dating apps and this event is the perfect way to meet other singles in real life.

QUICK NOTE: THIS IS A MULTI-MEETUP GROUP EVENT. 15 OTHER GROUPS HAVE ALSO BEEN INVITED SO WE'LL BE SURE TO HAVE A GOOD SIZE TURNOUT. THE RSVP LIST ON MEETUP REFLECTS ONLY A SMALL PORTION OF ATTENDEES.

HOW THE EVENT WORKS...
- At each Match Games Singles Game Night event we book a reserved area with some tables at a cool bar with a great vibe
- After you get your ticket we give you the event reservation name... When you arrive you just tell the venue host the reservation name and you'll be directed to the event area where you'll get to meet the other fun singles who are also looking to meet new people.

- You'll be playing fun and easy icebreaker games to get to know everyone.

- After the event you'll be a able to login to our app where you'll be able to select the people you'd like to stay in touch with (scroll down for more details about how that works).

- We usually have between 12 and 20 people at each event. The amount of people varies from event to event but you'll definitely get to meet a good amount of people without being overwhelmed by a huge crowd. We keep the events fairly small and intimate so you really get to know everyone and make real connections.

- Our host will walk you through the event via video on your phone (so there's no awkward check in process or silly name tags)
- The coolest part about the event is that no one else at the venue will even know you're at a singles event. It will just look like a group of friends having fun around a table!

- During the fun icebreaker games you can order cocktails (or non-alcoholic mocktails) to get everyone talking and then move into the games (feel free to order food/appetizers if you'd like to as well. Everyone pays for their own tab at the venue)

WHAT ARE THE ICEBREAKER GAMES ALL ABOUT?
You'll be playing fun games like "Friendly Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and the other singles at the table will be asked fun questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will try to come up with the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another popular game we sometimes play is Blank Slate where you have to try to guess the most popular fill in the blank answer to questions like, _________ TIME . You'd have to try to come up with the most popular answer... is it PARTY TIME? Is it NIGHT TIME? Or maybe it's SHOWTIME.
HERE'S THE REALLY COOL PART!

This event has led to countless relationships and new friendships formed because after the event you'll be able to stay in touch with the people you met at the event by reaching out and contacting them on our app. After the event is over we allow you to login to the app and swipe on the people you'd like to stay in touch with! It's similar to a dating app but you'll have actually met and mingled with the people in person before deciding if you want to match and stay in touch with them! After you get your ticket you'll be able to upload a photo of yourself on our webpage (only viewable by the other event attendees). After you sign up you will get an email from us with instructions on how to upload your photo to our app/webpage. It's the perfect way to meet someone, merging new technology and good old fashioned meeting in real life!

CAN I PAY AT THE VENUE DOOR?
We do not accept payment at the venue. You must pre-pay and get your ticket online.

DOES MY TICKET INCLUDE DRINKS?
Your ticket doesn't cover drinks. There is a great selection of drinks (and/or food you can order at the venue). Your ticket covers the cost of us organizing and marketing the event.

HOW MANY WILL BE ATTENDING?
We usually have between 12 and 20 people in attendance (It varies from event to event). We find the smaller crowd a way better way to meet someone than being overwhelmed by a giant crowd. The smaller crowd allows you to really get to know everyone and it's a much easier way to make real connections.

IS THE EVENT GENDER BALANCED?
We do our best to keep the ratios close to even but sometimes there may be one or two more women and sometimes there may be one or two more men.

CAN I ARRIVE LATE?
Try to arrive on time or even a few minutes early.

CAN I COME ALONE?
Yes, about 85% come on their own.

ARE THERE DRINKS?
Yes, there's a full menu of great drinks you can order at the bar.

IS THERE FOOD AVAILABLE?
Yes you can order food. The venue has a food menu and great appetizers available to order.

IF I ATTENDED A PAST MATCH GAMES EVENT CAN I ATTEND ANOTHER ONE?
Absolutely! We change up the games at each event so come to as many events as you'd like.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
While we don't have a dress code we ask that you please look neat/presentable. What you wear to work or what you'd wear for after work happy hour drinks is fine.

IS THERE A REFUND POLICY?
If you need to cancel, please email us and we can transfer you to a future event. However we do not offer transfers if you cancel on the day of the event or don't show up.

Our friendly host will welcome everyone and then you'll be grouped off into breakout rooms where you'll get to meet, chat with and play fun social games with the other singles in attendance. At the end of the event you'll be able to select people you'd like to stay in touch with (the matching works similar to speed dating... we explain the matching in more detail below).

WHAT IS THIS EVENT ALL ABOUT?

This is entirely new and revolutionary type of event for singles! We love the idea of traditional speed dating but sometimes it's hard to come up with things to talk about. That's why at a Dating Games Online Singles Game Night you'll have fun, easy games to play to get to know everyone instead of dealing with the usual dating "job interview" type questions. We find that it's a much better way to get to know someone! You'll be put in Zoom breakout rooms with a small group of singles and you'll play games that will help you get to know each other. Some rounds you may be with small groups of 4 to 7 people and some rounds you may be 1 on 1 with someone of the opposite gender much like traditional speed dating. Essentially, you'll work with the other people as a team and compare answers with the other teams. Each round we change up the teams to make sure you get to meet and get to know everyone in attendance (we explain the games in more detail below).

HOW THE "MATCHING" WORKS:
At the end of the event all of the singles attending are invited to put their email address in the group chat so that other interested attendees can contact them. If you're not comfortable putting your "every day" email address you can use an alternative email address or you can make another email address to use for the event. Yahoo, Outlook and Gmail allow you create several free email addresses and setting one up takes about 3 minutes. Then after the event you can feel free to email any people you'd like to see again. If people email you it's up to you if you'd like to reply to them.

WHAT KIND OF GAMES WILL WE BE PLAYING?
The fun games are set up to break the ice, help you gauge compatibility, make quality connections and to have a really fun night. An example game we like to play is "Dating Feud" which is similar to the popular prime time TV show we all know. In this game you and your group will be asked fun relationship style questions like, "Name a gift that women love men to give them". You will work together with a small group of singles to come up with what you think is the most popular answer and then you'll find out if you got the top answer. Another game we play is "Would You Rather" where we ask you fun questions like "Would you rather live the rest of your life without ever being able to watch a movie ever again or would you rather never be able to listen to any song/music again?". You answer the question and then you have to try and pick the most popular answer. You're then brought back from the breakout room into the main room to hear how everyone else answered the question. It's so much fun!

HOW IT WORKS:
Once you sign up, you'll be given a link to join a party of other people via video. All you need is a laptop, phone or tablet to take part in the event. You'll enjoy an evening of fun trivia. We balance the questions making sure there are plenty of different topics and difficulty levels so everyone will have a great time!

Our friendly host will be with you live via video on Zoom orchestrating the most fun trivia event you've ever been to! During the event you'll get to see all of the other participants via video. The event host will then pair you off into smaller teams and you'll be playing as a team against the other groups.

You're welcome to join with friends or sign up alone and we'll put you on a team. Typically about 75% of the crowd signs up on their own so don't worry if you're by yourself! It's actually a fantastic way to meet new people and we've witnessed countless friendships sparked at this event.

FAQ:
If I have friends or family members that don't live with me, can they be put on a team with me? Yes! We'd say about 65% of participants sign up on their own but if you have any friends or family members that want to join, they can too (simply message the host at the beginning of the event and ask to be placed on the same team as them). If you have someone in the same household as you, they are welcome to sit next to you and play along with you but each device needs to purchase their own ticket.
*No more than 2 people can share the same device/screen.

If I attended a past event with you, can I sign up for this one? Yes, In fact we never use repeat questions feel free to sign up with as many of our upcoming events as you'd like!

How do I join the event? After you sign up on to Eventbrite we will send you a link with an invitation to join the event on Zoom. We'll send you that link by the day of the event. If for some reason you don't see an email from us by the event date, make sure to check your spam folder.

What is the age range? All ages are welcome. We usually have a good mix of ages.

At this event you will be going on a series of 10 to 15 mini dates with each date lasting about 5 minutes each. Women stay seated and the men rotate from table to table until they meet each woman.
