Administering PowerApps and Flow with PowerShell

Administering PowerApps and Flow with PowerShell

Details

PowerShell cmdlets for PowerApps (https://powerapps.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/gdpr-admin-powershell-cmdlets) and Flow were announced almost a year ago although I doubt many people are using them at this point. However, as we deploy more and more apps and flows administering them becomes more important.

For instance, what if you want to share a bunch of Flows with teammates? Doing this one by one is a pain but with PowerShell you can share all of the Flows in an environment at once.

And what about keeping track of and managing environments? You can use PowerShell to do things like assign rights to environments or export all your environments to a CSV file.

This month's presentation will include:

--Demo of how to install the PowerApps and Flow cmdlets
--Demo of how to use PowerShell to export a log of your Flow activity
--Demo of how to create a PowerBI report of your exported Flow Activity
--Demo of how to user the cmdlets to give rights to your Flows to other people

So please come with your questions and if you have anything to contribute to this subject please email me at kathryn.birstein@insight.com. Our meetup is about all of us learning together!

As usual, GOOD pizza from Joe's Pizza and soft drinks will be served. Hope to see you on the 1st . . .
