Our Winter Walks offer invigorating, scenic, and a healthy outdoor activity, at NYC's most beautiful locations. Join others in your own age group at our walk through the High Line & Hudson Yards landscape. It is the perfect location for our popular 50 & Over Social Winter Walk.

Get some fresh air, some exercise, and meet some new people in your age range. Plus, enjoy the views, unique architecture & cutting-edge art that is all a part of the High Line and Hudson Yards.

Our social walks are an extremely popular way to meet others. This event very casual and non-awkward + our host will help to make introductions.

During the walk, you will randomly be paired with others in the beginning then rotate at designated times so that you get to meet everyone participating. Afterwards, you're welcome to hang out and exchange contact info with others.

FAQs:
Where to meet? Exact meeting location with host contact info will be sent to all paid attendees day of the event.

How many will attend? We will have enough attendees so everyone has enough time to meet and get to know all attending.

What if rains? We will email attendees a new date.

Can I come alone? Yes, about 90% come on their own.

Ages? 50s & Over. Gender balance is not guaranteed but we usually get a good mix.

Museum Of Natural History Murder Mystery & Scavenger Hunt (Murder At The Museum)

Discover all that the American Museum of Natural History has to offer in a fun new way! You will help solve a mystery while socializing and exploring the many halls with other fun people from various Meetup groups. You will be teamed up with others (unless you already have a team) and set out on an afternoon adventure that you won’t forget!

The hunt will take you through the many exhibits at the museum as you look for clues and answers to the questions about what our victim did that day. Each team will have 90 minutes to follow the social media postings from that day to find as many clues as possible. At the end of your time you will return to a designated area to put together your final answers. While we tally up the scores you can enjoy food and drinks.

The Story:
Dino Dave is an avid member of dozens of meet up groups. He is also a huge fan of the Museum of Natural History where several meet up groups are hosting a scavenger hunt. Sadly for Dave he has made more enemies than friends at past meet up events because of his abrasive and inappropriate behavior. Dave registered in the morning but never made it back. It is up to you and your team to find out what happened! You may even be part of the plot and not even know it!

How does it work? The group will meet in front of Uno Pizzeria & Grill at 1pm. We will put you on a team (if you don’t already have one) and give your team a sheet with about 30 different clues that you will need to find the answers to in the museum.
Can I come alone? Yes, most guests do. It’s a great way to meet new people and have fun!
What should I wear? It’s a weekend. Be casual and comfortable. You will be doing a lot of walking in the museum so wear comfortable shoes.
Cost: $39 (price goes up as space becomes limited so buy today and save)

HOW IT WORKS:
This completely online event will be LIVE and you will be able to see and hear the other participants while playing. In addition you get to meet and interact with other participants. You can attend via a computer/ webcam or smartphone/iPad/tablet.

At game time, your host will show you a word search board. Your goal is to come up with as many words as you can within the specified time frame. We will have multiple rounds of play and have a system to also virtually introduce you to other participants.

The people who made the most words, will get a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize at the end of the event. You also can earn raffle tickets for audience participation and finding certain bonus words. Winners receive Amazon Gift Cards, free events, and more! We will also play several other games including Word Twist, Categories, Rebus and more.
