Any recommended places to buy tea?

I am passing through NYC today to Long Island City.      I know about Empire coffee and tea by Port Authority Bus Terminal, but of late the quality of their teas has been lacking.

If anyone sees this in time, could you name some places in the city where I can buy loose leaf tea?
