HOW IT WORKS:

1. Prior to the event, we will email you with some ice breaker questions that you can use, or you can make up your own.
2. At the event, participants will be broken up into groups of 3-4 people.
3. The group will stay together for about 5-10 minutes and at the end of the round, half of the participants will move to a new station and start a new round, meeting new people.

FAQs:
How many will attend? This is a MULTI-GROUP partner Meetup. Don't go by the RSVPs you see in this group alone. We will have a good number of members attending.

Can I come alone? Yes. 95% of those attending will be coming on their own. This is a great way to network, connect and make new friends!
Is this age-specific? This particular event is NOT age specific and open to all.

Now, let me give you the lowdown on what goes down at our Connecticut Speed Dating event. We ask all participants to arrive 15-30 minutes earlier than the start time. This way, you can settle in, grab a drink at the bar, and get ready for an incredibly fun night. Trust us, showing up right when things kick off might leave you a bit more nervous. Arriving a little early can do wonders.

Now, I know you might be wondering if you'll feel uncomfortable. It's natural to have some jitters, but think of it like jumping into a cold pool of water. At first, it might be a bit chilly, but after a few minutes, you start to warm up. The same goes for our speed dating events. After a round or two, people start to relax, warm up, and genuinely enjoy getting to know other fun singles.

So, let's talk about how we select people. After each round of dates, we'll give you the opportunity to make your selection on a scorecard. You can jot down some notes about the person you just met, too. Then, the ladies stay seated while the men rotate over. When that round is over, you make your selection on your scorecard again. It's a straightforward process that keeps things flowing smoothly.

At the end of the night, you'll turn in your scorecard to the host. Don't worry, we've got you covered. We'll process the match results within 12 hours (and often even sooner). You'll receive both mutual matches (where you pick each other) and one-way matches (where you know someone was interested in you, giving you a second chance to reach out if you're interested).
