Details of the talk:

Lessons learned from Building Cross-Platform Voice Apps

In this talk, similarities and differences of developing voice apps for different platforms will be discussed. The creators of Jovo will present learnings from developing the open source framework for cross-platform development, and talk about advantages of both voice platforms. Additionally, they will share findings from their own voice app development projects and opportunities for tool and skill developers.

How to make your Alexa Skills work on Cortana - Whats involved?

This discussion will cover the intricacies of Alexa and Cortana and why it is so different to develop on those two platforms. There are many technical details and challenges to developing skills across platforms, and Michael will talk about how to make a skill for both platforms with the least effort. This conversation will also break down Alexa and Cortana unique elements and why some clients prefer to make skills on Cortana vs. Alexa. In addition to that, Michael will cover interesting trends in the voice space as they are constantly growing and evolving. In addition to all of this, Michael will break down how Fresh Digital Group’s Data Management Platform (DMP) will help the process of cross-platform skill development.
