Time to achieve your 2020 New Year Resolution: Learning to program with Go!

WWG NYC and Learning to Code NYT are co-hosting a two night intro to Go Programming workshop that will cover the fundamentals of Go and give you the opportunity to work with Go through several interactive examples.

Beginners welcome! This workshop is aimed for newer programmers who know some basics but don't have much exposure to Go or extensive experience programming. We'll cover key programming concepts and apply them using Go.

IMPORTANT! This workshop covers two nights, 02/18 and 02/19. Please RSVP for both events. Also, you must bring ID to enter the building.

This event is intended for women and other underrepresented minorities in tech. Allies attending with URMs are welcome. All attendees are expected to review and adhere to the Go Community Code of Conduct: https://golang.org/conduct

Please bring your laptop so you can participate. We recommend installing or updating to the latest version of Go ahead of time. You can follow the instructions here: https://golang.org/doc/install

Pizza and beverages are generously provided by our sponsors, the Diversity in Digital and Women in Tech groups at the New York Times.
